It?s hard to tell that the pile of rubble at the end of Rome Road, a small strip of industrial complexes in Arbutus, was once a building.

The fumes of ash and soot still linger near the site as crews sift through the remains, the occasional ember sparking another small fire, or “hot spot.” Casey Baynes was there on Thursday, she said, inspecting theruins for herself.
