The White House is exploring ways to revamp President Trump’s weekly address to the American people after receiving feedback regarding its effectiveness, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Monday.
“We’re always looking for different ways. We received quite a few comments and a lot of feedback that the weekly address wasn’t being used to its full potential, and we’re looking at different ways that we can revamp that and make it where it’s more beneficial and gets more information out,” Sanders told reporters during the White House press briefing.
Past presidents have delivered weekly addresses to the American people, and Trump did so throughout the first nine months of the administration, focusing on different themes and accomplishments of his administration. But the president hasn’t given a weekly address since mid-October.
Sanders said Trump would deliver a Thanksgiving message some time this week.
