ROYALTON, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities have released the names of the western New York couple who were found dead in a murder-suicide at a rural home.
The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office says Monday that 32-year-old Darryl McDaniel shot his girlfriend, 30-year-old Kimberli Socha, before turning the gun on himself.
Deputies say they were called to a home in the town of Royalton late Sunday morning after a relative reported that a man and a woman were dead inside the house, located 20 miles northeast of Buffalo.
No other details have been released.
