Valmont buys Australian maker of metal products

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Infrastructure products manufacturer Valmont Industries Inc. is buying an Australian company that makes metal walkways, industrial flooring and other metal products.

Valmont said Tuesday its acquisition of privately-held Locker Group Holdings will strengthen its position in the market. Locker Group is one of the leading suppliers in Australia and Asia of the products it makes.
