LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say eight people have been struck by lightning on Venice’s boardwalk, with a ninth person hit on Southern California’s Catalina Island.
The strikes occurred as a series of thunderstorms, rare for Southern California, swept through the region Sunday
