USS Connecticut hit ‘uncharted seamount,’ investigation concludes

A U.S. Navy nuclear submarine crashed into an “uncharted seamount” last month, an investigation uncovered.

The results of the investigation into the USS Connecticut‘s collision in the Indo-Pacific region, first reported by USNI News on Monday, have been submitted to U.S. 7th Fleet commander Vice Adm. Karl Thomas, who will review and determine if punishment is necessary.
