FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) — Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at the Eden Center shopping plaza in Falls Church.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday. Falls Church Deputy Police Chief Mary Gavin tells The Washington Post (http://tinyurl.com/7z7mdr3 ) that the first man was shot as he emerged from his car. Gavin says he ran across the parking lot before collapsing. He died at the scene.
