Trump vows it will always be ‘In God We Trust’ at White House Easter prayer service

President Donald Trump promised that the nation would always be “In God We Trust,” part of his larger Holy Week commitment to continue protecting Christianity within the United States.

Trump spoke at the White House’s Easter dinner on Wednesday, during which he reflected on the biblical account of Jesus Christ dying and rising again three days later and on “God’s grace” being with his administration’s first three months. The accomplishments he touted at the dinner included “a whole new spirit” within the nation and standing up for persecuted Christians across the world, who have been “so incredibly destroyed.”
