One dead after Iranian cargo ship struck in Strait of Hormuz, Tehran says

One person was killed in an attack against an Iranian cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz, Tehran claimed, though it notably didn’t identify the perpetrator.

Iranian state media outlet IRNA quoted the governor of Qeshm as blaming the attack on a “terrorist enemy,” though he didn’t specify which. The hesitancy is notable, as most previous attacks are quickly blamed on the United States.
