It was good news for quarterback Sam Bradford and bad news for the Washington Redskins.
If Bradford was as sharp during Monday’s pro day in Oklahoma as observers say and if his shoulder is feeling as good as he says, then St. Louis almost has to pick him first overall. The Redskins pick fourth.

Bradford underwent surgery this past fall to repair his right shoulder.
Before his pro day, Bradford told Sports Illustrated, “I haven’t had pain or discomfort since they turned me loose right after the combine. I can’t believe how good it feels. There’s no pain … Not one day have I woken up sore.”
Of course, he wouldn’t say anything else. It could cost him $15 million if he did. Dr. James Andrews, a consultant to the Redskins, told SI that he gave Bradford a clean bill of health in conversations with both St. Louis and the Redskins.
“I would have no reservations recommending him to them as the first pick,” Andrews said.
