Experience » Grev, an Annapolis resident and president of the Class of 1989, said the group expands every week since it attracts more classmates. The class tailgates before every home game at Navy Marine-Corps Memorial Stadium and made it to Navy’s game against Notre Dame at M&T Bank Stadium and the Mids’ game against Army at Lincoln Financial field. “The whole purpose is to make it as exciting as possible,” said Grev, wearing a Navy beanie and “Beat Army” button. “For me, it’s all about the party — getting the chance to hang out and meet new classmates.”
We were very impressed by Ingar Grev and the Navy Class of 1989 before the Army-Navy game in Philadelphia Dec. 6. The group of about 30 fans had several grills, warmers for food on a cold morning and a 10-foot tall inflatable Goat wearing a No. 89 jersey inflated by a generator.

We’re not looking for a small grill with hot dogs and hamburgers on it. We’re looking for extravagant, like a portable sports bar with menu items you can’t get for a dollar at a fast food joint.
