To make its West Coast star feel more comfortable on the East Coast, Warner Bros. Pictures called Georgetown shop Ultra Violet and asked it to send Leo flowers and a bottle of red wine (the latter was acquired at Potomac Wine & Spirits on M Street). And, since DiCaprio has become somewhat of a poster child for environmental advocacy, it’s no surprise that Ultra Violet’s lush bouquet was totally green: green hydrangeas, green roses and green orchids.
When Ultra owner Robin Sutliff went to deliver the flowers at the Ritz on Friday, she was told by a hotel employee that — surprise, surprise — DiCaprio had already received plenty of bouquets of flowers at the hotel.
But consider yourself warned, Leo Lovers: Don’t think that an impressive bouquet gets you access to Leo’s suite. Sutliff told Yeas & Nays that she could only drop them off at the hotel’s lobby. “I’d love to do door to door, but I don’t think that’s going to happen,” she quipped.
On Monday, Leo and co-star Russell Crowe filmed at the GE Building in Gaithersburg.
