A 29-year-old Greenbelt woman has been arrested in connection with an acid attack on a mother and her child, Prince George’s County police said.

The attack happened March 29, 2010 in the 1100 block of Kennebec Street. The woman was walking through a parking lot, holding her 3-year-old child, when she was assaulted by a woman who splashed a chemical on her face. The woman suffered chemical burns over her face, thigh, neck and both of her eyes. The child suffered chemical burns to her head, and just below her left eye.
